Andreas Panayiotou has been fascinated with Astronomy since childhood but was not allowed to pursuit his interest due to lack of foundation for astronomy at the time.
Professionally, Andreas has been a passionate and enthusiastic advertising designer, software and website developer with strong communication and marketing skills. Additionally he is an aspiring photographer, amateur guitarist, traveler who loves adventure, hiking and martial arts.
Andreas has been actively involved in the Cypriot amateur astronomy community since 2008. He has been president of the Board of the Cyprus Astronomical Society for 2 years. His main interest is making new astronomers comfortable and advising them of their first steps. He is in charge with lobbying and networking to better promote the CAO and IDA.
